WEDDING TIMELINE – WITH FIRST LOOK:

About 8 hours of coverage

  • 1 pm: Photographers Arrive – this is usually 2-3 hours prior to ceremony
  • 1:00pm-2:40pm: Shoot finishing touches of getting ready, bride’s details (dress, etc) bride putting on dress, groom’s finishing touches
  • 2:40pm-2:50pm: First Look! Yay! We can chat about this location prior to the wedding day or we will find the perfect location when we arrive on the wedding day.
  • 3:00pm-4:30pm: Bridal Party, Bride + Groom, and even immediate family photos done!
  • 4:30pm : Freshen up for the ceremony- This is the time you will be able to go up to the room and get freshened up and relax with your bridesmaids and groomsmen before the ceremony starts.
  • 5:00pm-5:30pm: Ceremony
  • 5:30pm-7:00pm : Cocktail hour- This is also a great time to get larger family group shots out of the way, but mostly we’re shooting candids!
  • 7:00pm-9:30pm: Reception: Typically we’ll steal you away for 5-10 minutes during sunset for a few romantic photos.

**To find out the starting time of your photography coverage count backwards from the ceremony start time. One example would be that most summer ceremonies are around 5 pm…great for lighting and helps to keep everyone cool during the ceremony.  If you want to do a first look, get all the bridal party photos, family and portraits out of the way early on so you can enjoy time the time with you guests!!
